Default Foe professions in prophs

Ive been playing for almost 5 yrs now and recently been spending a bit of time in ring of Fire. But only now did i see something which made me stop and think.
Prophs and its foes had the 6 core professions and i have only realised due to watching for a change what i kill - rit white mantle foes existed before factions was released.
WIK white mantle had rits in and probably like many other players we never noticed them pre wik and just took it for granted they were added for Wik.
And so far thinking back on factions and nightfall - i cannot think of any other foes who had a profession not belinging to that campaign - eg no paras or dervs slipping into factions foes.
Were prophs rits added on purpose to give a hint at what professions were comming or were they an accident.
Is there any more of these professions or are white mantle rits the only ones ?

The things called White Mantle Ritualists in Prophecies are actually Necromancers, it's just used as a name, like Arcanist etc., not as a denotation of profession.

Still a bit weird tho how the name became a propfession in factions.
I should also start to watch what skills are being used against me - doh for missing necro skills.
1 other thing i found weird - i know in nf its stated abbadon`s name was removed so he remained a nameless god ( so to speak ) so how did abbadons mouth still have the name.Infact i never thought about it before as hes hand his hand in 3 campaigns - shame he never had a tie in with the great destroyer .

the white mantle were called that before factions was thought of possibly... so purely coincidental?

the closest similar incident is actually that one of the envoys (before nightfall was thought of?) carries a scythe so possibly is a derv.

When prophecies was released, Cantha and Elona was thought already, there are a few NPCs with small hints that they were from those places, like the ghosts in the crystal desert telling they are Elonians.

Anet must have had one hell of a time with factions an nf being made - Saying about crystal desert and elona reach unless you had nf you cant see any real tie in with elona.
It would be interesting tho if anet after nf release actually released a world map just for asthetics sake , we know elona and crystal desert are linked but exactly how i dont think we know as well as where is cantha in relation to the other continents.
I will say the only thing when i started playing gw was anets use of "Tyria" as its damn confusing. We have the world classed as tyrians but also an area in prophs called tyria and i recall when any event announcements said about drops and tyria few of us didnt know where or what it implied.

Yeah, except that Cantha is WAY south of Tyria and Elona, no one knows exactly where it is, but that fan made above seems accurate enough.

Also, the use of the same name for 2 different places is kinda common, like Washington DC and the State of Washington, here in Brazil there is also State S??o Paulo and the city S??o Paulo and so on.

Is there a larger version of this? It looks really nice, but the details are so tiny as to be illegible.

It's from this page, so you can zoom it yourself, it's weird that the lmage in the previous link is not zoomable, it was from the page I had got that link in.
